Brazilian-born Leo Rocha made Bellport his home many years ago. The proximity to the sea, the welcoming reception of the local community and Bellport's understated beauty, were key factors in his transitioning to the United States. Following his passion for art, fashion, design and food, Leo quickly dedicated himself upon his arrival to secure American degrees in both Interior Design and Culinary Arts, graduating with Phi Theta Kappa and summa cum laude honors for each. He also pursued additional coursework in Architecture and Graphic Design at NY Institute of Technology.
